About Jez
Jez Rose had an eclectic business start...
...having worked in sales, for the NHS and as a Psychological Consultant before settling to work as a comedian. Today Jez still tours with his sell-out comedy theatre show for six months a year but his demand as a business speaker and secret weapon of many businesses remains as strong as ever and sees him dealing with a wide range of organisations. Early on this confirmed his suspicions of the reality of customer service in the UK and the many challenges businesses face in raising the bar and maintaining energised and passionate staff teams. Using his comedy to maximum effect in his unique training presentations, Jez Rose ensures people remember, retain and want to be the best.
As a comedy entertainer and Psychological Consultant Jez has made numerous television appearances including in his own 60-minute special for ITV and interviewing Jackie Chan and Steve Coogan for BBC1. He has performed for and worked alongside the likes of Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, Melanie Sykes, Sir Elton John and royalty and made over fifty other appearances on television and radio including:
- 'Scambusters' with Matt Alwright for BBC1
- 'Xtraordinary People' for The Discovery Channel
- 'ShopTalk' for BBC Radio 4
- 'Loose Lips' with Melinda Messenger for Living TV
- 'Jez Rose: All in Your Mind' for ITV1
In 2001 he co-authored a best-selling book on self-motivation and mental strength and his latest book takes a humorous look at improving customer service - entitled 'Have a Crap Day', it is due to be published late 2008.
The combination of hard fact and light-hearted presentation, brought together in Jez's unique way is reflected in the glowing testimonials from a wide range of businesses in all sectors of commerce.
Jez lives with his dog, Zeus, in Buckinghamshire.
